We are in the district of La Latina, in the very centre of the city, in the heart of the Madrid of the Habsburgs, in Calle del Ángel, 18.

  • 7 minutes on foot from the Royal Palace and from the Almudena Cathedral.
  • 10 minutes on foot from the Plaza Mayor and the Puerta del Sol.
  • 12 minutes on foot from the shopping area of Preciados, where you will find many different shops and department stores.

How to find us

  • From the airport

    The international airport Madrid-Barajas is situated 14.6 km from the hotel. You can get to the hotel in different ways:

    • By underground/subway

      The journey will take about 40 minutes. The ticket price is 2.50 Euros.

      1. From the airport take line 8 (Pink) and after 7 stops get off at Nuevos Ministerios.
      2. In Nuevos Ministerios take line 10 (blue) towards Puerta del Sur and after 2 stops get off at Alonso Martínez.
      3. In Alonso Martínez take line 5 (green) towards Casa de Campo and after 5 stops get off at La Latina or after 6 stops get off at Puerta de Toledo.

      The hotel is in between both stops, less than 5 minutes on foot.

    • By taxi

      The journey from the airport takes about 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic. The ride would cost between 35 and 40 Euros. You can contact Radiotaxi on 91 447 32 32.

    • By bus

      The journey takes about 60 minutes approximately. Bus tickets are 1 Euro.

      • Outside terminal 4 take bus 204 and get off at Avenida de America.
      • In Avenida de America take bus C1 to Puerta de Toledo.
      • You only have to walk up 300 metres up the Gran Via de San Francisco and you will see us on the right.
      • Line 3(Puerta de Toledo – Plaza de San Amaro). This line goes through Calle Mayor, Puerta del Sol and Gran Via
      • Line 204 (Barajas Airport – Line of America)
      • Circular line (C1 – C2). This bus will take you all way to Atocha train station.
      • Line 148 (Plaza de Callao – Puente de Vallecas) This line will take you to Plaza de España, Plaza de Callao and the South Bus Station of Mendez Alvaro.

  • By car

    • As you approach Madrid from any road you will come across the M30, the main circular motorway in Madrid
    • Once on the M30 exit at the Piramides junction and take Calle Toledo till you get to Glorieta Puerta de Toledo
    • Take the third exit and drive about 200m on Via de San Francisco
    • You will come across a small roundabout and take the first exit on the right. Drive up the hill and you will see us on the corner

  • By train

    If you arrive to Madrid by train you will get off at one of these stations:

    • Atocha station

      • You can arrive to the hotel by Metro: In this station take Metro line 1 (light blue) towards Pinar de Chamartin and after 3 stops get off at Sol. Take line 2 (Red) towards Cuatro Caminos and after one stop get off at Opera. Then take line 5 (green) towards Casa de Campo and after 1 stop get off at La Latina or after 2 stops get off at Puerta de Toledo.
      • You can arrive to the hotel by bus: Take bus C2 outside the station and get off at Puerta de Toledo station.

    • Chamartin station

      • You can get to the hotel by Metro: in this station take line 10 (dark blue) towards Puerta del Sur and after 5 stops get off Alonso Martinez. Then take line 5 (green) towards Casa de Campo and after 5 stops get off at La Latina or after 6 stops get off at Puerta de Toledo.
